It was a Wednesday night around 20:00, the line for Wing Kee noodle looked to be about an hours wait; however, with most noodle places I was in, in less than 30 minutes. You get to choose between 2,3, and 4 add ins for your bowl. With add ins from almost every cut of beef, pork, seafood, chicken, and tofu. You also get to choose which noodle you would like, ranging from: yellow, egg(thin/thick), flat rice, and vermicelli. They use the same broth for everyone’s dish. I decided to go with a beef s
They use the same broth for everyone’s dish. I decided to go with a beef stomach, pig blood cake, and octopus add in and ordered a side of seasonal vegetables as well.
To my surprise the seasonal vegetables were also served in that thick broth, which I really enjoyed. My main dish was delicious. The octopus and beef stomach were phenomenal, but the perfectly cooked yellow noodles in that rich broth were the winner. The pigs blood cake was gelatinous but lacked in the flavor department. The vegetables were great as they helped lighten the already heavy meal.
If I had to go back I would stay to beef or pork only for my bowl as the broth is too heavy for seafood in my opinion.
It was also reasonably priced. 3 add in bowl for $39HKD and seasonal vegetables for $20. Giving me a total of $59HKD for a huge meal.
Overall: 7.2/10
