In Shatin, we walked by A Happy Pancake and saw there was no one in line. I did love the one in Causeway Bay so as there was no one in line, we went in to eat.The space here is not as big as the one in Causeway Bay. This branch is also self serve as you order and pay at the cashier where they will provide you with a pager that will ring for pick up. Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. There is a minimum one order per person but they do allow the set drink as an order

Whch is what we did: Order one pancake and a set drink.
We shared a pancake with cheese mousse and berry sauce ($98). The pancakes were serve in a paper plate. Actually the drink was served in a take away cup. Definitely different than the one in Causeway Bay. But the pancakes were wonderful. Soft and fluffy. It smelled wonderful and tasted great. The cream was slightly sweet. The berry sauce ould have been a bit more but it was good. There was also a scoop of ice cream.
Though this was a self service restaurant, the pancakes were still delicious.
