Went without a reservation on a Thursday night. Got a bit of a black face from the woman (the owner), but were taken to a table upstairs, where it was empty, but it started filling up after about 45 minutes.She was very very pushy about what we should order and how much we needed.She did some of the BBQ cooking for us, which is normal in a Korean restaurant, but I got the feeling she was doing it to make us get out of there faster.After finishing the first round of rice, we ordered 1 another bo
Went without a reservation on a Thursday night. Got a bit of a black face from the woman (the owner), but were taken to a table upstairs, where it was empty, but it started filling up after about 45 minutes.
She was very very pushy about what we should order and how much we needed.
She did some of the BBQ cooking for us, which is normal in a Korean restaurant, but I got the feeling she was doing it to make us get out of there faster.
After finishing the first round of rice, we ordered 1 another bowl because one of our party was still hungry/eating, and we scolded for not ordering all the rice at the same time.
After more or less finishing the meal, the bill was presented before we asked for it and were told "time to pay and leave now" (albiet with a smile).
Kimchi - good
BBQ meat - passable
Rice - not good - wrong kind of rice for a Korean meal
Service - not good - my Korean friend (who came with us) said that in Korea this kind of service would be insulting.
Value - average
I've had lunch downstairs before and the service was much better.
I would not return to this place and I would not recommend it to anybody.
