I was very keen to try the ice cream sandwich with pineapple bun instead of cookies which is the other option. You choose the flavor of ice cream and any toppings you want. I was given the option to try different flavors before deciding which was great. I tried the lychee which was prominent but the real lychee fruit was a bit icy for me. I also tried the rose flavor but that tasted faint so I decided to go for the interestingly need birthday cake with bits of yellow cake and sprinkles inside. The pineapple bun was heated up before serving so it was a bit warm which provided a nice contrast to the ice cream. The birthday cake ice cream ended up tasting just a bit too sweet for my taste. It's a great concept but I think the flavors and quality of the ice cream can be better.
