Was craving for hotpot yet looking for a decent place for a date night, I visited @victorianera_hk at Causeway Bay, superb location and decor. Interestingly, their new pink-themed hotpot menu caught my eyeballs!The 粉紅玫瑰牛乳鍋 Pink Rose Milk Hotpot was really instagrammable, its chicken broth infused with a milky flavor complemented the ingredients exceptionally well. For instance, the 粉紅墨魚滑 Pinky Cuttlefish Paste were handmade in-house daily. Their new meat platter 太極兩儀 features Sliced Beef in Red

Their new meat platter 太極兩儀 features Sliced Beef in Red Wine and Sliced Pork in Truffle & Milk.
Also tasted as good as they look were the colourful meatballs and dumplings - 七彩餃子 & 七色丸.
Among all, my favourites of the night goes to Cuttlefish Paste w/ Okra & Crab Roe 秋葵蟹籽墨魚滑 and Shrimp Paste w/ Century Egg 皮蛋蝦滑 - both creative yet tasty.
To complete the experience, it's a great idea to order some really pretty mocktails, best way to cool yourself down and also serve as picturesque props!
