Right before the beginning of another semester, I have finally able to asked two of my busy high school friends for a little re-union, so I did a little research before that, and the Openrice ranking lead me right to The Point. Realizing how popular is this restaurant, we have booked the table in advance, so we don't need to wait outside. As you can see in the menu, The Point will offer appetizers, meat, pasta and pizza during dinner hours. All of them are equally attractive to us, and the ingredients will also be listed below the fancy name of the dish!

And the pizzas offered here are no ordinary pizzas, they are very CREATIVE indeed! You can either stick of the safe choices such as POSH HAWAIIAN or you can go with something special such as the NEPTUNE.

FOOD

If you are a lover of cheese fries, then this Truffle Fries are something you have to try!

We have ordered this fries and we love it a lot If you love cheese a lot, then grab those on top, otherwise, go for those at the bottom, this is because the cheese sauce was so cheesy! And oddly, even with the truffle, the fries won’t be too salty; it was a prefect match instead!

We have also ordered the Linguine Vongole, we have tired this dish in other restaurants before, but they couldn’t compare with the one here! First, it’s NOT THAT SPICY, so non-spicy lover can be assured and try it.

And what we liked about it, is the white wine they added in it, you could totally taste and smell the wine when you eat it, I won’t say the wine is concentrated but tasted just right for a Linguine Vongole.

And here comes the main part of this dinner, the NEPTUNE pizza. When we saw the menu, we have ponder over the taste of a pizza that made with béchamel sauce and parsley, but it turned out to be REALLY GOOD!

With the amount of seafood added in it, you can say that your money paid was worth it and they don’t taste fishy at all.

Another thing we love about is the pizza used a thin crust instead of a thick one, that’s why you won’t feel too full even if two or three of you share this 11-inch pizza. Moreover, the menu stated that the pizza was made-to-order, fast-fired for 3 minutes; it’s nice that we could observe this process through the open kitchen! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND this NEPTUNE pizza if you are looking for something unique!!

This Banana Haven is something you have to try also, it was only 6-inch big, so it’s prefect for a dessert.

I really don’t have much to say after you tasted a pizza with roasted banana and marshmallow with ice cream, the only word I could use is “sweet” when all of my favourites combined in one dish. So make sure you won’t be too full and not able to try this wonderful dessert, especially ladies

DRINKS
For drinks, we have ordered Strawberry Ice Cream Float, Mock Champagne and Sea Breeze.

For the Strawberry Ice Cream Float, besides of the good-looking of it, it also tasted good especially the ice cream is quite milky and it makes the drink taste better!
