we booked our table the day before. We came right on time, and managed to get a table right away. When we arrived the place was full of ppl. This restaurant has the most beautiful exterior and romantic lighting, it was pecfect for me and two friends of mine to catch up over a drink. There were too many things that we would like to try on the menu, anyways, at the end we ordered 3 different dishes, all very tasty and and well prepared.
Mushrooms sautéed with cherry tomatoesjuicy cherry tomatoes and tender mushrooms make for a winning and diet-friendly first dish to enjoy. This dish was perfectly cook, balanced flavour.I like how they placed a piece of bread on the bottom, it did absorb the flavour.
pork belly with applewe all love pork belly, this made the most wanted dish of the night. the presentation of this dish was extraordinary, everything was perfectly placed on the dish, pork belly with crispy skin on the bottom, tender caramelized apple and top with some herbs. The roasted pork belly that gave us beautiful succulent moist tender pork with light crisp crackling. To have it with apple sauce was just classic.
Fishermans StewFantastic deeply flavored broth which is what it's all about. That was DELICIOUS!!!! So simple, wholesome and hearty. This was a big plate to share, tomato base stew with all sorta fresh seafood, clam, fish, prawn, mussel etc. clams and and mussels gave up their liquid for flavoring the broth. Crusty bread is an essential when it comes to broth, so glad they put a few there.
