I don't often hang out in TST but as the weather is getting cooler I don't mind al fresco dining but it is on the corner of the road so you do get some fumes.Anyway, I was lucky my friend booked this place as it was practically full.Sat on the corner so it was relatively quiet. The menu was in English and Chinese and there were some interesting items like fried pigs ears.Ordered the seafood platter which turned out to be a delicious big pan of bouillabaise where the broth was tasty and full of se
Anyway, I was lucky my friend booked this place as it was practically full.
Sat on the corner so it was relatively quiet.
The menu was in English and Chinese and there were some interesting items like fried pigs ears.
Ordered the seafood platter which turned out to be a delicious big pan of bouillabaise where the broth was tasty and full of seafood flavour.
The seafood was fresh and the lobster was springy.
The next striking dish was the slow cooked octopus with squid ink mash.
I loved it because the mash was buttery infused with a nice squid ink flavour.
Dessert was really comforting and I am so glad I chose the burnt rice pudding.
It was thick and creamy contrasted by burnt sugar in every mouthful.
Definitely will remember this place next time I am in TST.
