My friend who I was dinning with suggested the place so I made a reservation. As I arrived the staff seemed to be confused about who should greet the guest. Communication was confusing. I was suppose to be lead to my table be another group just charged in and step into my table instead. So I waited to be seated again. When we order, the waitstaff's English was pretty bad for being an English speaking restaurant. I had to slow down to ensure she understood my order. When I order a traditional cocktail she had me repeated and spelled out the name like it was a foreign language.
I ordered the foie gras and it tasted and textured like spam. I didn't even know it is possible for foie gras to be this bad. We had to send it back.
My friend ordered the oysters but they got her order wrong even tho she was really really clear about what she wanted.
The shrimp cocktail was decent. And when the cocktail arrived it was actually excellent.
The fajitas my friend ordered was ok.
We ordered dessert and got the lava chocolate cake. And they somehow squished it flat and the filling was already leaked out instead of kept in like any molten lava cake should.
Oh and the bathroom was a messy and gross warzone.
My friend said they used to be good and somehow their quality apparently is getting worse.
I would come back only for drinks and never again for dinner.
Overall I would just avoid the place all together.
