Ordered a 0.5-pound cake for my friend's birthday a day ago. A complimentary chocolate plate was offered. This Rose & Strawberry Cheesecake (Strawberry Confit, Cream Cheese, Rose Essence, Roasted Hazelnut) was new. It looked very lovely indeed. I picked it for my female friend's birthday. Taste-wise, it was a bit too sweet but was still very light despite the cheese. The cheese was not so thick, maybe because it was just cream cheese. I think it tasted more like strawberry rather than rose. Ther

This Rose & Strawberry Cheesecake (Strawberry Confit, Cream Cheese, Rose Essence, Roasted Hazelnut) was new. It looked very lovely indeed. I picked it for my female friend's birthday. Taste-wise, it was a bit too sweet but was still very light despite the cheese. The cheese was not so thick, maybe because it was just cream cheese. I think it tasted more like strawberry rather than rose. There seemed to be a layer of roasted hazelnut in the middle but I couldn't really find much hazelnuts. Overall, it was quite a pretty cake for celebration although I had expected more for the taste/texture/layers. Next time, I will try another flavour.
