Came here for dinner on a Sunday evening. The street was so empty and this restaurant was the same - with just a few tables of guests. You really could tell how hard it was to maintain business nowadays as you can tell from the face of the seemingly-to-be the boss of the restaurant. It is ok I really understand.Back to the food. The 2 of us ordered 2 sets to share, topping them up for 2 snacks/appetisers. One of us went for a hot drink and another of us topped it up by $8 for a special drink.

Fried red rice with beef cube was one of the sets we ordered. The fried rice tasted pretty, well seasoned of the right degree of sweetness by ketchup! The beef cubes were super tender and well seasoned as well, yet not overly greasy. The peppers and onions also tasted good. Good dish.

Stirred moan with whole soft shell crab was the other set we ordered. I ordered this because I had been craving stirred moan for so long! The whole soft shell crab was so hot but I couldn't help but eat it right away. It was slightly salty though. As usual, we added loads of 魚露 to the noodles which were so good for the hot weather - slightly spicy and sweet and sour. I didn't feel thirsty at all after eating! I think there could have been more veggies/other ingredients though.

We topped up our set by $21 to get these Prawn crackers with pork, which were really great value for money! The prawn crackers were still crispy and fresh when I ate them. I found them a little bit too greasy though. But it was a pretty nice appetiser with well-seasoned pork and toppings.

We also topped up our set by $20 to get these Viet steamed rice rolls, again great value for money. I had thought they would be served cold but instead they were served super hot. Even waiting for a while before eating, they were still super super hot. They were pretty thin rice sheets with loads of veggie ingredients. The amount of and the toppings themselves were quite a good flavour and texture enhancer to the whole thing.

Overall food was quite nice overall. And you really need to top them up to get the snacks/appetisers to earn better value from the meal set!
