Lunch today at Lian in IFC with a friend. Had to try their signature Beef Pho with US prime beef (lunch special). Beef pho: Overall a good bowl of pho. Meat was tender, broth was flavorful and noodles were smooth and decent level of chewiness. MSG level was pretty low which I liked. The only stickler was $140 (set lunch) for this bowl of pho + spring rolls (I had a bottle of Pellegrino so my share came out to $200) seem a little overpriced for Vietnamese...Vietnamese spring rolls: Skin was very

Vietnamese spring rolls: Skin was very crunchy (pretty thick) and nice but honestly I couldn't taste the filling at all. Felt like I was just eating crunchy spring roll skin. Probably should choose a better appetizer next time...
Environment: Decor was nice, modern and comfortable. We sat to the side of the main dining area so it wasn't cramped.
Service: Waiters were attentive and food was delivered quickly to our table. It was during lunch hour rush so after we finished our lunch and was chatting the manager did come over and gently ask us if we could pay our bill since there was a ton of people waiting outside. Although not ideal he was very polite.
