Last week I visited a friend in Fanling and had a quick lunch together at Shanghai Shanghai.Tried some of the Shanghai cuisine staples from their lunch menu including Pan-fried Beef Buns, Shanghai Pork Chop and Twice Cooked Pork. Guests could choose from plain rice, vegetable rice, and various kinds of noodles to go with the set. I especially liked the pan-fried buns which were crunchy on the outside and soft and tender inside.Also ordered Sichuan Boiled Beef and Sweet and Sour Pork to share. Th

Also ordered Sichuan Boiled Beef and Sweet and Sour Pork to share. The portion was pretty big especially the Sichuan boiled beef, which tasted slightly spicy and savory. Sweet and Sour pork, was appetizing as always.
Food was prepared and served efficiently. Prices were reasonable. Would revisit to try the xiaolongbao and fried noodles.
