But what they actually use are these teas that are already in tea bags and then placed in an espresso machine to make your drink.

They also serve cake and there was an ice cream machine. So they sell soft serve ice cream as well.

So I ordered a Royal Earl Gray Tea Latte Family ($30). Yes, they had a selfie corner so I stuck my cup here to photograph it. Silliness aside, what was the "family"? It was a bobba, grass jelly and a tea pudding. All in one cup. The bobba was fine but what was disappointing was the tea. For a place that kept stressing how excellent their tea leaves were and how they used an espresso machine to extract it, the tea was not very strong. It was weak and the taste of the tea was so minimal, I can't even say it was subtle.

Another ridiculous thing was they placed a plastic seal on top of the cup and then covered it with a plastic lid. What was the purpose of that? They said it is due to the fact with just the plastic lid, the tea would leak out. But what it caused poking your straw into the cup extra difficult. It just wouldn't go through the plastic seal and the lid just popped off anyways. I don't understand this purpose as so many other places are using the plastic lid and none of them double seal it with a plastic seal.

I was a bit disappointed considering how they stressed their method would make the taste better. But instead it was weaker than other tea places that make it the regular way. At least it was drinkable but for $30 a cup, there are a lot better places in Tsim Sha Tsui for the same thing for the same price. I'd rather go elsewhere.
