iMilky (沐白小農) is another bubble tea shop from Taipei. Their focus is more on milk based teas much like Milksha. But I was disappointed by Milksha. I thought it was pretty terrible. But a friend of mine who frequents Taipei a lot informed me that iMilky was much MUCH better and if in Taiwan, I should give it a try.Well, I couldn't find it in Taipei but I did find it in Hong Kong! Well, I couldn't find it in Taipei but I did find it in Hong Kong! Tsuen Wan to be exact. Apparently they have another location in Yuen Long. I was skeptical. With so many bubble tea shops in this one block, this was the only with no customers. But I recalled what my friend recommended, so I gave it a try.
Menu is in English and Chinese. As it's a take away only stand, there is no 10% service charge.
I decided on the strawberry milk ($35). Half the cup was pulverized fresh strawberries! The other half was milk! After mixing it up, it was so fantastic. The sweet strawberries shone through. The milk was creamy enough. It was like drinking those boxed strawberry milk drinks I buy at convenience stores whenever I'm in Japan! I've been ordering lot of strawberry drinks lately and this! This place is the best! A true strawberry milk! Way better than Milksha! I hope this place opens near Causeway Bay so I can go to this regularly.
