Staying in Jordan can be a good thing afterall, since it was surrounded by good food everywhere. On this lazy weekend afternoon, we do not feel like venturing out further so we decided to have some light desserts nearby. We walked towards the outskirts of Jordan, nearer to Austin MTR station. That area can be quite quiet during late noon and it suit us. We were stopped by this panda looking signboard outside and their menu look interesting as well, so we decided to give it a try. Even though the shop was small, it still manage to offer a wide variety of desserts. It offers high tea as well, like pasta and small snacks etc.
Mango pancake with ice cream - It was served with 2 small mango pancakes and a scoop of mango ice cream. Ice cream was sweet and nice. For the pancake, mango meat was wrapped with cream and a layer of pancake. The skin was slightly thick and full of cream. As i do not like cream, thus it was ok to me.
Durian puree in coconut - As a durian lover, i enjoy this dessert. Portion was big and it was placed inside a young coconut shell. Beside durian puree, there is jelly in the coconut milk. Coconut was not old, thus i could scrap off the meat from the shell. Durian puree was sweet and meaty.
Egg pudding in coconut - Like durian puree, it was placed in a young coconut shell. There are jelly and sea coconut in it. Egg pudding was very soft and smooth and it compliment nicely with the sea coconut. Sea coconut was sweet as well.
