After the Labour Day long weekend, we just wanted to find something close by and healthy. Found this on Openrice and thought we'd give it a try. Overall, I'd say the food and the service were very good, and the price on the menu generally are ok. But we ordered the special sashimi, which was 2 kinds of fish (dunno what the fish are called in English) and we got a surprise when the bill came to just under $1000 for 2! We ordered:
Special sashimi platter of 2 kinds of fish
Scallop sushi
Salmon sushi
Onsen egg sushi (this was very nice)
Oysters cooked in clear broth (5 pieces - not bad)
Edamame beans (they had little brown spots all over them, they tasted ok, but didn't look very nice)
Grilled Salmon Head (was a bit pricey for $79 for just half the head)
Cold Soba
The quality of the food and service was quite good, so I'd go back again, but will make sure we ask the price of the specials before ordering!
