I always like to kick start my weekend with a scrumptious brunch with my frds! Last week I went to @ulivohk at The Quayside for their 3-course brunch ($258pp).🍽For starters we had the Asparagus Flan and Burrata Cheese and Tomatoes (+$35). The Asparagus Flan’s texture is similar to soufflés yet less airy, it was quite yum! The Burrata Cheese wasn’t creamy and milky (missing pici’s burrata cheese👉🏻👈🏻)For mains we had 3 pasta. For mains we had 3 pasta. Love the Spaghetti Bottarga, which was full of mullet roe and chilli! The mullet roe was quite fresh and not fishy at all. The Orecchiette was very al dente and flavourful. Would recommend these 2 pasta! 🍝
I must say the dish plating for The Purple Potato Gnocchi was very interesting, as well as its’ taste, it’s like halfway-cooked taro balls😅
Dessert wise, both the Panna Cotta and Profiterol were okay.
The restaurant was quite cozy and for some reason I think there’re some fairytales elements in the interior design🤣
