Today my colleague suggested to me that we should head over to a place known for their quality of food. This place was abit far off from MTR, almost in between of Kowloon Bay and Ngau Tau Kok MTR. The whole area was full of industrial building and the place that my colleague intended to bring me was one of those. They have few choices for their set lunch and the price was flat across for $80. It consisted of soup and a main. It will cost additional $15 for coffee, drinks or ice cream.
They have a detox bar at a corner to let customers drink for free. 3 containers were placed there, with each containing different flavours. All of them were used fresh fruits to soak in it. I tried watermelon and lemon drink and it was sweet and cooling.
Corn soup - Real corn meat were used in the soup and the portion was quite generous. It was sweet as well, but it would be better if it was served hotter.
Roasted chicken in Thai style - The serving was quite huge, with 1/4 chicken being used. There were chilli powder, fried garlic and some herbs at the side to enhance the flavour of the pasta. It was spicy, which suited me perfectly. Pasta were chewy and dry, and the chicken were roasted till soft and smooth. It was flavourful as well.
Durian ice cream - The ice cream was hard and creamy, with real durian meat used in it as well.
