I used to love going to the grill room and it’s been a few years that I have visited, but I was still happily surprised at the quality of food!! Being “the grill room”, we had to order their beef tenderloin topped with shaved black truffle. It was such a nice pairing alongside the beef jus. The tenderloin itself was sooo nicely seasoned and the bed of potato purée was also smooth and comforting. The mushroom that was on the side was also nicely grilled. The gril pattern on it was so attractive.

The gril pattern on it was so attractive. No wonder it took at least 15-20 minutes till our food arrived, but I can really see the effort placed on the dish. The braised beef ragu pappardelle had 3 huge pieces of beef, alongside al dente pappardelle that was a perfect combo. The sauce blended with the pappardelle so well, where each bite tasted so fulfilling.
We thought we could also get some dessert, but these two main courses already filled us up so much that we didn’t need to. I was glad to see that the restaurant was a full house even on a weekday. This is probably testament of their high quality! A lot of great memories brought back, and I regret not revisiting sooner.
