I entered the Toast Box with my family thinking it will be a boring restaurant to eat in but when I looked at the menu, my mouth started watering and my eyes started filling with hunger as if I was going to burst out and melt in my chair.Situated in the Popcorn Mall, the menu doesn’t lack choice. Situated in the Popcorn Mall, the menu doesn’t lack choice. There is chicken curry, noodles, different bread toasts, and drinks.
As the aroma of the food travelled across the restaurant making me feel irresistible to stop myself from falling off. When the chicken curry and the rice arrived on my table and I took the first bite of the chicken, the curry smoothly went down my throat and the chicken drowned in my teeth slowly and calmly. Each grain of the rice marched down through my mouth into my stomach giving me a comfortable feeling. As I munched the spinach with the dark red soya sauce with my hands, each crisp touched my throat and dropped down. I picked up the glass of honey-lemon and as I took the maiden sip, my mouth felt the soothing honey and soft crunchy pieces of the lemon and as I go for another sip. I was unable to stop myself from leaving the straw, it felt like I was glued to the glass and couldn’t move until I finished. Next I picked up my fork and twisted the long, wiggly noodles and brought it towards my mouth, looking at them I was tempted to eat more and I touched the fork with my lips feeling the sweet and sour taste of the noodles and the soup.
Now, it was the time for the most wonderful dish which was the melted ice cream with chocolate cake. It was a lovely sight looking at the ice cream melted over the cake and the chocolate blended in, it was a scrumptious dessert. Every single morsel, my mouth felt the coolness and the softness of the cream. The cake had a unique texture which made the dessert look even more attractive. As I picked up the last piece, I looked at the cake the last time and felt annoyed that it was finished already. I wanted more but as they always say chocolate is not good for health so I stepped back and finished off my dark green spinach and delicious chicken curry with rice.
A Lunch meal in toast box would normally cost about $90-100 but here it was about 136 dollars including the service charge.
