This place is just a stone's throw away from Lin Heung Teahouse and Cafe O on either side, and just a few steps down the road from the CoCo Express coffee shop. I came specially for the froyo, but was prepared to pick up a bagel if their rolls-with-a-hole looked right to me. Turned out they used ready made bagels which did not particularly fit the bill for me although the brand they used was a good one. Hmmm... another time, maybe, when I really crave a chewy dough. OK on to the froyo. I had a single portion, to try, and had it topped with granola, blueberries, strawberries and, for the first time ever, mochi.
The froyo had a nice, dense milky flavour but was a bit too sweet foy my taste. It was also too watery melting easily. The granola was fresh and crisp and worked well with the froyo. The mochi pieces, however, were bland and seemed completely out of place within the mix.
Despite the small minuses there, the taste of the froyo is the most important at the end of the day, and theirs offered a milky sensation which I'm still relishing. So will visit again soon.
