I was charged $275 for a single standard bar drink (red bull vodka).When I was told $275, I thought it was a mistake, and re-confirmed my order, for one red bull vodka.Only after paying (credit card) for the drink, did I realize that it was actually not a mistake.When I asked the bar tender who took my order, he said that it was a "double shot" (I definitely did not order an extra shot nor did I see the bartender make the drink stronger). Only after paying (credit card) for the drink, did I realize that it was actually not a mistake.
When I asked the bar tender who took my order, he said that it was a "double shot" (I definitely did not order an extra shot nor did I see the bartender make the drink stronger). Because I had paid already, he shrugged that there's nothing he could do. Additionally, when I asked the other bartenders about it, they also just shrugged. Terrible customer service mentality.
$275 for one drink is incredibly steep (not to mention I didn't even order a double).
Even if it is for 2 drinks (but why would 2 drinks add up to an odd number?), it's on the pricier end considering this is not a high-class lounge style bar, nor is it a club in Lan Kwai Fong.
While I ended up staying longer and ordering more drinks. I definitely won't be back and encouraging others not to go here.
