Went there for casual dinner. We order a chirashi don and it came with an onsen egg — how strange. They used very cheap ingredients but charged $278. The ikura was very sweet — I could only taste sugar. We also ordered deep fried rice cakes with cheese filling. I took a bite and was disgusted by the cold cheese filling. They couldn’t even reheat store-bought frozen food properly — just let it heat up all the way through! Enough with the terrible food. I will now talk about the terrible attitude
The owner/chef was the most terrible part of the restaurant. When we told him about the cold rice cakes, he just said: ‘Ok.’ Then I asked him about their sweet ikura. He got so offended that he became illogical. He asked me how I thought ikura should taste. When I told him that they should taste like the ocean, not too salty — definitely not sweet, he said that the ones that we usually eat are ‘toxic’. He would not take any constructive criticism.
Please do yourself a favour and don’t allow yourself to become another victim.
