We sat on the second floor of the restaurant, and its safe to say that all the staff there were absolutely miserable.Understanding that it's a busy night and by no means expecting impeccable service, never have I ever experienced worse service in Hong Kong. Understanding that it's a busy night and by no means expecting impeccable service, never have I ever experienced worse service in Hong Kong. The staff were not only rude with terrible attitude, but disrespectful, condescending and extremely extremely aggressive.
When asking for our order to be taken or our first glass of water (after being seaten for over 30 minutes), the waitress would incessantly roll her eyes and huff and puff aggresively at me as if I was asking for something ludicrous. Needless to say my friend and I were too afraid to even ask for our second refill of water - and of course, never got it.
Another server who brought our food out, SLAMMED every single one of our dishes down on the table. It was so jarring and violent that the one and only courteous server had to awkwardly apologize on her behalf. This then prompted her to sarcastically YELL "ENJOY" at us at the top of her lungs as she continued to throw the rest of our dishes on the table.
It was clear they were only interested in waiting on specific tables, to the point where the other guests had to let them know that I had my hand up for service first.
Needless to say I will not be visiting Rubia again. The food was not bad, but not worth the horrendous attitude and awful service to say the least.
