It’s sad to see the deterioration of quality after years. The embarrassing positioning of the restaurant may be the crux: it intends to be a quality causal restaurant, but the service is very so-so as compared with a hotel or even a beach restaurant overseas. Peninsula Hotels, the operator, needs some attention.1. We stand at the “counter” next to the entrance for some mins …… some staff obviously saw us but took no action.2. It’s sad to see the deterioration of quality after years. The embarrassing positioning of the restaurant may be the crux: it intends to be a quality causal restaurant, but the service is very so-so as compared with a hotel or even a beach restaurant overseas. Peninsula Hotels, the operator, needs some attention.

1. We stand at the “counter” next to the entrance for some mins …… some staff obviously saw us but took no action.

2. Food is ok especially the naan which is its famous dish, but there’re better choices of southeast Asian cuisine with better value now.

3. Some waiters seem to be green, while others are typical old Hong Kong.

These make me wonder: it’s too expensive to be a holiday causal dining place but not a fine dining one. Perhaps the high tea is better……
