The reason it’s called high tea was back then it’s served to workers, usually sat on high chairs to enjoy some food with a big pot of tea after a hard work day. That’s why it’s called “high” tea. Anyways... food here had been always good! And this waffle I had was just as brilliant as expected. It’s crispy on the outside and soft inside, served with fresh banana drenched in baileys and toffee with some peanuts too. That sure added a nice texture to it. Salted caramel ice cream was a perfect match too, with fresh cream and a dash of maple syrup on top. Umm..... so rich in taste, so creamy and I loved it! A nice cup of cappuccino balanced it just right.
