Enough procrastination about starting an openrice account, here goes my first post! Tasted my first churros in the UK and it was too amazing to forget. Churros originated from Spain and used to be a breakfast food. With time it became a dessert. Churros originated from Spain and used to be a breakfast food. With time it became a dessert. Multiple places in HK also serves churros but I found them either too hard or too sweet.
eyescream and CHURROS offer the best churros in HK so far to my liking!
Along with churros they offer different dipping sauces including chocolate, salted caramel, lemon curd etc. You can also choose ice cream to go with it. Drinks and "Eyescream" (綿綿冰shaved ice) are also offered!
I went at 3pm at a less busy time and there was still a crowd. Luckily the waiting time was not long and the staff were all very friendly!
The churros were still warm and the amount of sugar and cinnamon on top was just right. Although for crazy cinnamon lovers like me I would prefer a lot more cinnamon! It was soft and very crispy outside. The ice cream was really smooth and milky.
Deep fried till golden brown The owner Muse was very nice and friendly She is holding the limited edition of churros with green tea ice cream and red bean. Matcha lovers alert!Would go back for more yummy churros.
