We wanted to use our harbor city coupons . We bought 3 buffet lunches ($258) and 1 main course + buffet lunch ($358). We had to book a week in advance for a window ocean view which was definitely worth it because the sky was perfect and very relaxing to look at. We wanted to use our harbor city coupons . We bought 3 buffet lunches ($258) and 1 main course + buffet lunch ($358). We had to book a week in advance for a window ocean view which was definitely worth it because the sky was perfect and very relaxing to look at.


Their dry rub prime rib from the buffet is definitely not the best quality but considering it is a carving station, it is not half bad. However, the outside is actually better than the inside which is surprising. The prime rib tray was also empty for quite some time and wasn’t refilled after 10 minutes and when it was, everybody was lining up and it was gone within 3 minutes. Luckily, I got to try it. The prime rib is great with mint jelly (sadly they didn’t have lamb) and steak sauce, I wanted to try it with their chimichurri sauce but I couldn’t find it.


The pumpkin soup was definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. It was so creamy but also embodied an intense pumpkin flavor and was not heavy at all. (I had 3 bowls of this 😉😆). This creamy soup was perfect with their fresh refillable popovers. The crispy and chewy texture of the bread is just harmonious with the soup and a definite 10/10 recommended combo if you are visiting.


Sadly, the buffet plates are not kept under a hot lamp like other buffet places and this makes the food cold/ room temperature very easily.


Other dishes available at the buffet was:


Eggplant with tomatoes and cheese - basically baked eggplant in tomato sauce and cheese. This was absolutely delicious, the tomato sauce was perfectly seasoned and fresh (you could tell it was made with fresh tomatoes) and the tomato sauce is actually perfect with the prime rib.


Chicken sesame salad - chicken thigh bits with white cabbage, carrots and cucumber etc. This salad was so refreshing and the chicken pieces was small so each bite you have a little bit of chicken without getting feeling too filling.


Smoked duck breast salad - sliced smoked duck breast with green beans and mandarin oranges. The mandarin oranges were the ones you get from a can, which was expected because of its sweet taste but canned food 😬. The duck was just any other smoked duck breast but this was sliced very very thin 🤣 so they were a bit greedy with that. But the green beans was perfect with the duck and this dish was one of my favorites.


Tomato salad with feta and cucumber- sliced tomatoes with light dressing and feta cheese. Refreshing and light due to the dressing.


Creamed mushrooms - baked sliced mushrooms in a cream sauce with parmesan cheese. I had two servings of these 😆. Very creamy but still have a firm bite to it. The cream is not overwhelming but light and coats the mushrooms perfectly. The cheese on top is crispy and gives a nice salty taste.


Roasted cauliflower - very crunchy cauliflower with a nice char, sadly, the dish it was served on was not kept hot so the food became cold very easily.


The poached shrimp was surprisingly fresh and tender. It’s not as cold as I would like but the texture is not mushy or spoiled at all. But this was also in high demand so they had to replace it quickly. The size was also quite small which is expected but not worth the price.


Beetroot salad, Pasta salad, potato salad, cheddar cheese sausage, Grilled sweet corn, crab pate on crackers.


For main course we had the USDA hanger steak was very tender and hot. We ordered medium rare and it could have been pulled apart with my fork and knife. It was served with a big bow of steak sauce (that was also available outside in the buffet section). But their was only 5-6 pieces of steak which is a bit disappointing as that was supposed to be a main course.


For dessert, they had a green tea mousse, brownie, banana cake, cheesecake and fruit salad. The green tea mousse had a strong matcha taste which was good and texture was creamy and smooth. I didn’t try the others as I was quite full already😞.


Overall, this would definitely not be worth it without some sort of discount or coupon. The restaurant itself was also very well ventilated with air conditioning so the food got cold very quickly. The buffet itself would not be worth $258 unless you can eat at least 8 rounds of all the foods.
