I came here for the Hokkaido melon soft cream but that was out of stock so had to go for this one instead. This Sesame Warabi Mochi was on sale at half price. It seemed to be a special edition which was limited.However, it was very disappointing. The soft cream was melting fast, obviously their machine was not strong enough to produce cold enough soft cream to meet the demand. The mochi was below average as the texture failed - worse than the packaged mochi we had bought earlier from Sogo superm

However, it was very disappointing. The soft cream was melting fast, obviously their machine was not strong enough to produce cold enough soft cream to meet the demand. The mochi was below average as the texture failed - worse than the packaged mochi we had bought earlier from Sogo supermarket. The soft cream itself was reasonably rich in sesame but similar sesame ice-cream bars we could buy elsewhere in supermarkets could offer similar quality except for the smooth texture. And the portion seemed so small compared with other soft cream at such a price. The waffle cone was also so thin and not rich in buttery flavour at all. Very disappointing. Not worth the money even though it was half-priced.
