Went to Sevva for tea again. I really love the atmosphere there as well as the cakeBut the service needs to be improved. My mom, my sister and I went there at about 4:15pm and were brought to the lounge. But we were seating right next to other two women, which means that we were sharing tables. P.S There are still other seats available. My mother asked whether we could sit outside, and the waiter brought us to the balcony and what suprised us was that we were brought to an old table with three s

If that is what I was given to sit, I would never go to Sevva!
Angrily, my mother requested to change our seats to the sofa, and at last we were seated inside again, but with ourselves only this time.

My all time favourite is The Lemon Meringue and the Crunch Cake. Since I am a Carrot Cake lover, I ordered a slice of Carrot Cake as well as the Ginger Cheesecake.

Crunch Cake: This is a must everytime I visit Sevva. It is simple without outstanding appearance but it taste the best.The cream is very smooth with just very slight of sweetness. However, The layer of cream is a bit too thick on the top. The sponge cake itself is quite good, with just the right amount of sweetness. The combination of the slightly rough sponge cake and the silky smooth cream is heaven! For those who are not a sweet cake lover, this may be the right one for you.
Lemon Meringue: This is also one of my favourites! This is the best lemon meringue I've ever tried so far! It is not sour but with a hint of freshness. The egg white crispy layer(like waffer) is what makes it special. Really have to try it out if u have a chance! In my own opinion, this lemon meringue and the Crunch Cake is not sweet and fresh, which will not leave the heavy hint of sweetness in the mouth.
Carrot Cake is a more 'heavy' cake. It is a lot sweeter than the last two cakes. The Carrot Cake from Sevva is not dry at all. However, I love the combination of the cream cheese layer with the carrot cake. The nuts and carrot little pieces inside make it 更有口感. But for those who are not into sweet cakes, do not try thisP.S I would not recommend ordering a slice of carrot cake since it will be too much. The piece of carrot cake in the tea set is just right.
Ginger Cheesecake is too much for a slice. The small piece of it in the tea set would be enough. The cheesecake itself is nothing special, but the ginger bits above them made it special. I would not recommend you to order this as this is nothing outstanding. After finishing the wholce cake, I felt it too creamy and way too heavy to my liking.Overall, Sevva is one of my favourite place for high tea, but watch out! Their service is really poor
The tea set is just average, but their cakes are really good!
