I cannot recommend Iberico too highly. I had an early dinner there last weekend, and 4 tapas plates – from a large selection -- were sufficient for two people, as was the litre of Rosado sangria with berries. The Patatas Bravas dish was lovely and rich (but I would have expected a larger portion), and Pumpkin Peri Peri was a great recipe for a sweet and spicy dish. Those two plates came out of the kitchen quickly and within a minute of each other; I was therefore puzzled when fifteen minutes later I had to ask about the two remaining dishes. However, the dishes arrived as we were speaking, succulent halibut steak and a stunning dish of scallops on slices of Portuguese black pudding, topped with grilled serrano ham. I soon forgot about the timing error between the dishes and the small portion of potatoes.
The quality of the dessert, churros with chocolate, matched that of the earlier dishes.
