We always wanted to try making chaplin steak don from shokugei no soma and we were recommended to get our steak here! The shop is in turn mun but thankfully they’ve got an online shop and delivery option which really made things a lot easier for us 🤣🤣 We got a 28-days dry aged sirloin steak 🥩 and hanger steak. Initially we were planning on making the whole thing Chaplin steak but the box for our sirloin steak had instructions on how to cook it so we decided to follow it’s instructions for medium

Initially we were planning on making the whole thing Chaplin steak but the box for our sirloin steak had instructions on how to cook it so we decided to follow it’s instructions for medium steak. The steak had a decent amount of fat which I think is perfect for me as I don’t like supper fatty ones or too lean ones. Before this, I never knew what dry aged steak was 🤣 but it was really tender and absolutely delicious!! 🤤
For the hanger steak I feel abit bad cause I felt like we did it injustice 🤣🤣 we made it Yukihira style but I think we made a mistake of.cutting it thin. 😅 despite all that! The meat was still very chewy and matched the onions well! I can see why this was a winner in the show 🤩
I saw online they had hotpot beef and other types of meat, so if we are feeling too lazy to move for good premium meat, this would be our online shop of choice! 👍
