1. I missed 阿佳拌麵 last time when I visited Kwai Chung Plaza, thinking that it is just another ordinary food booth that sells Taiwanese food. After learning the shop owner is a Taiwanese, I decided to try it out with my colleague before we went to watch a drama in the nearby Kwai Tsing Theatre as I think the food would be authentic.2. 2. And it surely is! I assumed the man in the booth is “阿佳". I ordered their signature minced meat noodles bento box. What’s good about this booth is that they allow you to bring your own reusable container to buy food. I did try as so happen I had my empty and clean lunch box with me at that time, and I took this picture which is my colleague’s order.
3. You can choose the sauce that goes with your noodles. I chose sesame, which is great! Make sure you mix it thoroughly though, as the sauce might sink to the bottom.
4. We adore the jelly like tofu on the side. So authentic and delicious!
5. A nice surprise - the egg. We thought it would be a hard boiled one, but it’s actually an amazing onsen egg with runny egg yolk! Oh my goodness! Foodgasm for real!
