Lunchtime on a weekday at this place is pretty crowded. There are complimentary side dishes provided - a kimchi and a seaweed soup. The soup is peppery and appetising, but quite strong on artificial flavour.
The Stone Pot Tofu Soup with Rice comes in a hot stone bowl, still bubbling vigorously with residual heat. A big bowl of steamed rice arrives at the same time. The soup is simple in flavour, and packed full of meat, tofu, egg, clams and a prawn. Unfortunately, the clams were a bit sandy, so I left them. The spiciness was quite weak, and it would have been nicer to have a bigger kick. I found myself going back to the kimchi side dish for more flavour.
This place is fine for a simple and cheap feed.
