This restaurant is hidden at the end of Stanley Street. It serves simple Yunnan cuisine, the style is more like the neighbour next door, but I dig it. Especially, where do you find cheap food with respectable quality – 小雨天 is definitely one of them. Chicken soup rice (2/10)
The broth was rather MSG style, it gets you thirsty. The chicken wasn’t seasoned, rather bland. At least the scallion was fresh.
The sirloin was very tender, the fat was soft too. The sirloin was stewed properly that the flavour was fully infused. The Chinese picked vegetable further enhance the flavour, so how, it was surprisingly good.
Give me a thumbs up if you like it!
