I have heard about Hero Sandwich from my friends long time ago but I never had a chance to try it. I came here by myself last week on a weekday around 12pm after I went work out. There weren't any customers when I walked into the store. The shop was quite spacious and it was close to Butao Ramen at the intersection of Wellington Street. I was looking at the menu, not knowing what to order. The cashier approached me proactively and he recommended Prime Steak Sandwich & Beef Pastrami Sandwich to m
The sandwich was so good! The bread was well toasted and the pastrami was hot & tender. The side salad was of good size. Veggies were so crisp and fresh!! However, the iced coffee was too milky in my opinion. I ordered the regular-sized coffee which I found it to be quite large! Its about Venti size of Starbucks. I was told that I could add $6 to make it large-sized but I didn't. I thought regular-sized was good enough!
I will definitely come back and try other items on the menu, like their baked potatoes! Great combo & good value! High recommended!
