Haven't visit Chips Republic for a while, today I was pleasantly surprised as they have renovated, added some couch seats and wooden tables. Also noticed there are more options in their menu. Black Truffle Cheese Chips $55 (2/5 stars) This felt short of expectation. The chips were nice and crispy, but the sauce was predominantly cheese flavour, black truffle flavour was missing. As you work your way down, the bottom was full of cheese and the chips were soaked.
Honey Grilled Chicken Salad $65 (5/5 stars) On the menu this had an "S" which stands for Signature, so I ordered it. And hey, it was GOOD! The greens were very fresh. As for the dressing, you get to choose vinegar or honey mustard. I went with honey mustard and it was fantastic. The grilled chicken was well-marinated, juicy and tender.
Fish bites (+$25 if u order a meal) (3/5 stars) This was not bad, crunchy on the outside, but nothing memorable. Better to stick with their Fish n Chips next time.
