I’ve wanted to try the cakes at La Famille for a long time and I finally got the chance to do so for my friend’s birthday yesterday! The double chocolate cake was extremely rich in chocolate flavour, which wasn’t pure sweetness like some other choco cakes, but a perfect mix of bitterness and sweetness. And the flavour lingered in our taste buds all night along!
The lemon & honey cake, on the other hand, was very refreshing. The spongy texture of the cake tasted extra good with the tinge of sourness and sweetness of the ingredients.
They also sell cakes in full sizes and other products like cookies and gift packages. I’ll definitely demand a cake from La Famille for my OWN birthday next month!!
