Beautiful bright space, perched atop the newly opened H gallery. Light and fresh produce from Japan, executed à la French style.

Seafood dominates the menu this season. The Amaeba spot shrimp is sweet and light and the Hokkaido scallops layered with truffle and lightly crusted with panko breadcrumbs, was really tender. Kinki fish, grilled and lightly salted was a pleasant surprise, a frightful looking fish the size of your palm turned out to be really tasty: it’s meat fell off easily from the bones and you could taste the hint of charcoal which it was fanned over. Highlight of the meal was definitely the chicken that was stuffed with foie and dressed with a copious amount of black shaved truffle.

Dessert to cap off the lovely afternoon brunch with the girls was a chocolate tart and some fresh strawberries flown in from Japan.

Upstairs, is home to probably the best roof top bar in central - boasting sea views and a playful kusama pumpkin that can be spotted afar by the discerning few.

I can foresee lazing away my weekend here, lounging in this breezy hideaway with some bubbly, light nibbles and good company when it finally opens...

Verdict: Great spot for weekend brunches, power lunches and to impress a date. Will be back to checkout the roof top bar when it opens.
