Visited for lunch just over a year ago and was very impressed. Unfortunately it didn't take long for the standards to fall off the cliff.Went back for lunch over the holidays and they charged us over $1000 per person for their special "festive menu" (normally half that). However, the food was totally unworthy of that price tag. The sea urchin was not fresh and the bouillabaisse dish did not work. Very uninspiring menu with none of the flair from my last visit. They also ran out of the lotus chicken. Quite unacceptable considering that was one of the only 3 main course options and you actually have to supplement $780 for that too. The waiter did not even know they ran out when we ordered and had to come back later to tell us that. If that's a popular or limited option then they should have asked guests to reserve it beforehand.
Aside from this service also deteriorated with waiters shouting at each other across the restaurant.
We also noticed one of the chefs only had his apron straps on without the actual apron. What a mess.
Overall, totally not Michelin 1 star quality and it would be unfair to other starred restaurants if they manage to keep it for the next year.
