Used to live in HK and frequented this restaurant all the time when I wanted first class Modern cuisine.The food that the owner made was world class and as good as anything I would expect from a more expensive modern restautant in any major city in Australia or the US.My wife and I recently went back after 8 years and decided to check it out and was pleased to see Jubal was still there. As we used to do, we didn't worry about the menu we just asked the chef what was good and got him to recommend

My wife and I recently went back after 8 years and decided to check it out and was pleased to see Jubal was still there. As we used to do, we didn't worry about the menu we just asked the chef what was good and got him to recommend a menu based on what we felt like.
Sure enough he came up with an excellent 4 course meal which was just outstanding food. Lobster Bisque was as I remembered it (divine), Hot Smoked (while we waited) Salmon, Home made pasta cooked al dente (so good when your fed up with soggy chinese noodles) and I would say probably the best chicken dish I have ever eaten.
My only wish is that he moved to Australia so I could have a regular place to dine.
