i went to tit*f for a light lunch today again.....after trying out the disappointing mooncake, i have decided to buy something more normal to avoid pissing myself off again. i had a hard time choosing what i should buy-tit*f has just too many special and tempting bread, toast and buns on its shelf. at last i ended up buying three pieces of wheat garlic toast ($10 for 3 pieces with size of a palm) plus an almond crisp thingy which costed 9.and tit*f has never let me down(except last time). the to
and tit*f has never let me down(except last time). the toast was incredible-it was not exactly 'toasted' because its still soft in texture, but the garlic paste on top was just all right. the bread itself is not too dry despite being wheat. it was gooooooooood.
as for the almond crisp thing, it was like wow. i actually dont like almond flakes too much. yet the crisp thing was like a pastry with a crunchy 'pie' crust plus an almond paste-like filling and flakes on top. it was terrific with so many textures.
a ten out of ten!!!!the bread was certainly a bargin, esp the almond crisp thing. not sure if they have it everyday, but do remember to grab a piece when you happen to see them. they might be limited items-who knows?
