This time we tried the crab soup hotpot (195$?), there was indeed a crab shell but to be honest there was not much crab flavor in it. Better stick with the spicy or pork bone or fish soup.
We got 2 rounds of A3 wagyu beef (250$ each), dumpling, meat balls (the cheese balls were missing the cheese this time...), veggies, fish skins (awesome), and superior beef. This last one and the mushroom dish was wrapped and displayed as a sample, obviously the waiter wanted to push them on to us. Next time we should avoid it, the "superior" beef wasn't soft enough. But overall the staff is friendly so we didn't take offense.
The atmosphere is great, exactly what you would expect from this kind of place: noisy, vibrant with people at the next table trying to outperform everyone at beer drinking. A show in itself.
Overall, memorable night out. Friendly staff. Cheap beer (22$ for a large Asahi). In my opinion, good value for money (1600$ for 5ppl).
Highly recommended, for the local atmosphere.
