Met boyfriend for lunch in San Po Kong as he wanted to take me to his favorite tomato soup noodle place. I love tomato soup noodles so he felt this place was the best.It was a small shop with a few seats. But it was also full of people!Menu is in Chinese only. This is the afternoon tea menu. There is no 10% service charge. All items include a drink. Basically everything is a tomato soup vermicelli noodle with a protein item of choice. You can also choose to have your soup with the numbing spicy

They do have a photo of most of the food items on the back.
I had the noodles with chicken wings ($35). Portion was huge! there was also the Chinese boiled peanuts and plenty of potatoes that were cooked so long, they were soft and mushy. There were huge chunks of tomatoes as well that tasted like it was coated in sugar. The soup was super sweet as well. There was way too much sugar added and thus covered any tomato taste. The chicken wings were ok. Not that flavorful. The noodles were smooth and al dente.
Boyfriend had the vermicelli with pork chop ($35). It was the same as mine so I grabbed a pork chop. The pork chop was much better. Nicely seasoned and fried quite well. Meat was moist and tender.
It was ok. Portions were huge that I couldn't even finish. The soup was way too sweet and had no tomato taste at all. Just tasted like sugar. I doubt I'd be back. At least not by choice anyways.
