Sunday at The Salted Pig

Today I tried The Salted Pig. I love Knutsford Terrace resturants and The Salted Pig is no exception.  I started with their French Cabernet which was vibrant, flavorful, with hints of fruit and spice.  Nice, especially since they run happy hour until 8 pm.  I ordered the full slab of baby back ribs.  I was craving some BBQ after a full night of drinking the night before.  They did not dissapoint. While they could have been smoked longer, the ribs were flavorful and meaty. The BBQ sauce was sweet

While they could have been smoked longer, the ribs were flavorful and meaty. The BBQ sauce was sweet with a bit of spice.  I would have liked a bit more jalapeño taste, but after all we're in Hong Kong, not Texas. The sides were French Fries and Cole Slaw.  The fries were seasoned perfectly.  I couldn't stop eating them.  The slaw was nice too, but could use a little salt to make it just right.   Overall, I enjoyed my meal and to top it off, they gave me two glasses of wine "on the house". Not something I've experienced here much.   Great job "Salted Pig".
