Perfect OmakaseMy husband and I have always been a big fan of Crab Omakase. When we were living in Tokyo, we would go for a crab feast every now and then. My husband and I have always been a big fan of Crab Omakase. When we were living in Tokyo, we would go for a crab feast every now and then. Of course in Tokyo, it’s always easy to find a decent place, ex: Kitafuku, Kanikosen, Kanidoraku etc. you name it and you would always be satisfied, but that may not be the case in HK. We find most of the Japanese restaurants, especially the seafood ones are often overprized and quality fluctuates from time to time. Whereas this restaurant is decently priced and offer really good quality Taraba and Hairy crab in their omakase. All of the dishes were greatly presented, not just some clumsy decoration in some of the so-called high-end restaurants in HK. Taste is pretty good since all the crabs were alive and shown to us before they were being prepared for serving. By watching the chef handling the big axx rebellious crab, they seemed very experienced and well trained in their skills. The chefs were very friendly and professional even though they spoke little English. We would definitely come back for our routine feast, as they mentioned they would change the dishes from time to time!
