Recalling my last visit enjoying couple traditional Vietnamese local dishes, this time I tried their street snacks/quick food for lunch.We ordered a turmeric dill marinated chicken bún, vegan Vietnamese sausage bánh mí and herby leaf wrapped roasted beef.Herby leaf wrapped roasted beef was pretty nice compare with many restaurants out there. Not as salty and as fatty as I had. More on the roasted flavour than just meaty. Herby leaf definitely gave a hint of earthy flavour. Topped with spring oni

Herby leaf wrapped roasted beef was pretty nice compare with many restaurants out there. Not as salty and as fatty as I had. More on the roasted flavour than just meaty. Herby leaf definitely gave a hint of earthy flavour. Topped with spring onion oil and peanuts and side with vermicelli. Quite thoughtfully to give a crunch and some plain flavour to rinse your palate.
I was craving for some bánh mí, sadly non-vegetarian ones were all sold out. I decided to try out their vegan Vietnamese sausage bánh mí. Surprisingly, the vegan sausage indeed tasted meaty with a real Vietnamese sausage texture. It gave a chew with the similar colour, texture and savoury flavour. In addition to the spicy plum sauce, it gave a unique kick! A big thumbs up not just use the spicy mayonnaise which many Vietnamese restaurants did. Paired with the crunchy baguette and loads of fresh coriander, aha! Im loving it! 🤤
Lastly, the turmeric dill marinated chicken bún was quite disappointing among the other two dishes. It was pretty bland. Even mixed the chicken sauce, it doesn't taste much for me. I drizzled the chilli sauce served on table for a kick. Lettuce, carrots and peanuts were luckily to give a crunch and freshness. Chicken was cooked just right with strong dill flavour but still, dill flavour didnt pass through the noodle.
Not as surprising as my first time. Brunch menu seems not as worth as it is, prefer to order separately.☺️ Anyhow, not bad.
