Rasoi restaurant was located at Tai Kok Tsui, not an area known for Indian food though. The decor was very Indian feel, with the utensils and table cloth resembling those at India.

The menu was very comprehensive ranging from their signature lassi drink, naan, masala and tandoori etc.

Plain papadom - Usually this appetizer is complimentary, thus i was quite surprised when it was inside the menu. As usual, it comes with 3 different sauces for us to dip onto. The texture of the papadom was thin and it goes well with the sauce. It was not that crispy though.

French fries - The type of fries used is shoestring, those thin type. It was fried till hot and crispy. Some Indian spices were added to distinguish from those western fries.

Chicken Tikka - It was boneless chicken marinated with yogurt and spices and skewered in a clay oven. Every single piece was huge and the meat was soft and smooth. The meat has fully absorbed those Indian spices and was flavourful. It would be better if it was more spicy.

Cheese naan - When it comes to naan, I usually ordered cheese and garlic flavour. They use cheese and some Indian herbs to make their naan. The naan was quite ordinary as the cheese was not those melting cheese type and was not served hot. The taste of the cheese was strong though, and helps to enhance the flavour.

Mango lassi - This drink was a must whenever i visited Indian restaurant. It will be the only time where i will be able to try lassi drink. Mango taste was strong and sweet and the drink was smooth.
