Flori Flower & Korean Dessert Cafe opened up in the now more and more hip Tang Lung Street recently. As I live near this area, I always seem to walk by it but haven't really given it a try as sometimes it's not open or I am on my way to lunch. But as I was waiting for a friend to get off work so we could have dinner and I was a bit hungry, I stopped here for a bite. It's a small shop that is geared to make it look like a flower shop. It's a small shop that is geared to make it look like a flower shop. Thus, the flower theme.
What they serve are Korean toasts, hotteok, desserts (that do not include bingsu), salads and all day breakfasts. They have drink add ons available. Menu is in English. You order and pay (cash only, no 10% service charge) at the cashier where they will give you a pager that will ring for you to pick up your meal when it's ready.
The raspberry hotteok came with some slightly sweet whipped cream, a few dots of blueberries and slices of banana. Love the whipped cream as it was slightly sweet and not just bland cream (as I find in many small scale cafes).
